Neil young is always a great choice for beginners when it comes to learning something on acoustic.
He’s got a ton of great songs to work with. His guitar style keeps it intersting too. He’s known for his use of little “tricks” to dress up ordinary chords and make them sound interesting.
Guitaretab.com recently posted up a tab for his “After the Goldrush” song.
While you won’t find anything beyond just the chords here, I think this song is something interesting to work with because it uses a bunch of common chords.
The trickiest part is the change from G to Bm because it requires switching from “thumb over” position to thumb behind position. Be careful here and take it slow at first.
