Do you make this picking mistake on guitar?

If you do, it’s cool. We’ll still be friends :-)

And of course I’m talking about the very common mistake of “string noise”. You know… when you’re playing a scale or something and the note you just played is now interfering with the note you’re currently playing? Or worse yet, a note you didn’t intend to play at all is sounding out as if it had a life of its own and it’s ruining your kick ass solo.

Anyway, it’s not really a huge deal, but it does give away that you’re an amateur at guitar. Pros usually play quite cleanly and don’t have too many unwanted sounds ringing about.

So those of you who wanna sound more professional ought to consider watching this latest Justin Guitar video. He talks about a few ways to get that noise problem handled and even demonstrates how the noise sounds so you know exactly what mistake you’re makin’.
